Horizon League Releases 2026 Valeo #HLBASE All-Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS (May 13, 2026) - Recognizing student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League released our 2026 Valeo Baseball All-Academic Team on Wednesday.

- A total of 14 student-athletes were named to the All-Academic Team while an additional five student-athletes earned Honorable Mentions in balloting by the League’s faculty athletics representatives.
- The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports.
- The 2026 Valeo #HLBASE All-Academic Team is comprised of student-athletes from four League institutions.
- Six student-athletes represent Wright State, including five on the All-Academic Team.
- To be eligible for Horizon League All-Academic consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale), have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits, and participate in 50 percent of the team’s overall contests.
- An exception is made for baseball and softball, as pitchers must participate in 20 percent of the team’s overall games.
- An Honorable Mention is awarded to student-athletes who received at least 25 percent of votes, but did not make the All-Academic Team.
