MEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK | ANDREW STRONG | PURDUE FORT WAYNE | FRESHMAN | BUTLER, IND
  • Placed 8th at Rumble in the Fort with a 6k time of 18:50.2
  • Set a new 6k program record
  • Helped the team to second place with 52 points

WOMEN’S RUNNER OF THE WEEK | AMELIE OJEDA | NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY | SOPHOMORE | LOMBARD, IL
  • Placed fifth with a season best 6K time of 21:35 at the Illinois State Redbird Invite on Friday September 18th
  • Marked Ojeda’s 8th consecutive race as NIU's number one runner. 
  • Ojeda competed strong against the front runners of #9 Midwest region ranked Illinois State and Big Ten Iowa front runners.

  • IU Indy’s top freshman finisher in Saturday's  open race at the John McNichols Invitational
  • In his collegiate debut Connors recorded an 8K time of 26:55.8
  • Placed 48th overall out of 254 runners
  • Helped the IU Indy reserve team finish fifth out of 15 teams in the open race with 138 points.

  • Placed second out of 48 runners at the Rumble in the Fort on Saturday (Sept. 19)
  • Recorded a personal best 6K race time of 22:15.3
  • Led the Jaguars to a team runner-up finish with 42 points
  • Top-finishing freshman at the meet
