2019 #HLGOLF Championship Central
The 2019 Women’s #HLGOLF championship started at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. on April 21 as the teams competed in three rounds ending on April 23.

On day one of the competition, IUPUI and Oakland each shot team scores of 311 to share the early lead.
 

Oakland’s Veronica Haque and Maddie Zack, along with Cleveland State’s Madison Butler led the individual scoring in round one with each posting a 75 (+2).
 

On day two, the Jags followed their round one performance with a 316, giving them a three-shot lead over Oakland with one round to play.
 

Individually, Youngstown State’s Katlyn Shutt and Oakland’s Zack and Kylee Sullivan were all tied for the lead after the second round with two-day totals of 154.
 

On the final day, IUPUI shot its best round of the championship, posting a 303 team score, winning the title by 13 strokes.
 

IUPUI  earned back-to-back women’s golf titles, taking the championship in its first two years in the Horizon League.



Zack shot a final round 73 to top IUPUI’s Marion Debove and YSU’s Shutt and earn championship medalist honors for the Golden Grizzlies.
 

Zack, Debove, and Shutt were joined on the All-Tournament Team by Cleveland State’s Butler and IUPUI’s Kara Blair and Amelie Svejda.
